TRIP WEEK!

Hope you're enjoying the grade seven activities around the historic town of Ipswich. You live in one of the most special locations in America.

If you are not learning at least 10 new facts at each site, you need to let your tour teacher know. I take notes at each site, and that helps me keep track of my learning. Why not try that system?

Enjoy!

Students should be working this week on their discrimination composition.
- Use the handout issued in class today and select ONE of the three prompts presented on the bottom of the page.
- Prompts #1 and #2 are asking students to share a personal narrative. Specific instructions for writing a personal narrative appear on the reverse side of the handout issued in class today.
- Prompt #3 asks students to prepare a persuasive essay. Be sure to use the techniques we practiced this year (intro techniques, thesis placement, topic sentences, supporting details, specific examples, transitions, etc.)
- Your composition must be typed, titled, free of all MUG errors. Produce your very best work.

Best of luck to you on your math MCAS exam.
