Please arrange to print your own work...

I have received several e-mails from students who are asking me to print their "Words to Live By" or "I Pledge, I Will..." assignments. While I appreciate students digitally sending work to me, I'm often inundated with requests from students to print their work.  I realize several students do not have printers at home, but there are more than 100 of you and only one Mrs. Smith.

Here's an idea for the future, which I already suggested to students:

I do not have a functional printer at home, either. As a result, I often e-mail my work to my own e-mail address and print it at school the next day. I encourage students to do this, too. Would it be possible for you to e-mail work to yourself and "CC" it to me as a backup? If you do not not have a Hotmail or Yahoo account, I can help you make one. This way, students can take care of their own work, and I don't have 115 students asking me to print their work.

Does that make sense?

Thanks for taking care of this issue. See me if you need further help. :)
