***********Information about "I Pledge" due June 13th***************

TASK:
Choose one of your Non-Fiction” I Pledge”books and prepare a product of multiple intelligence to share at our Spring Exhibition. This project has three goals:
1.      Persuade other students to become interested in the book enough to read it.
2.      Prove that you have deep knowledge of your book.
3.      Prepare and present a polished product (or series of products) that looks and/or sounds professional.

2 COMPONENTS REQUIRED:

1.) Written Component
You need to write a letter to your fellow 7th grade peers recommending your book. The letter should start, “Dear fellow peers, “ and it should include:
¬     A summary of the book (title, main characters and an overview of the plot)
¬     Evidence from the book supporting your opinion (could be you like the writing style, the sense of action, the information you learned, etc.)

2.) Artistic Component
Choose ONE from the list below. Your artistic component should have a short sentence or two explanation (i.e. “In my book, Boy, a memoir by Roald Dahl, it describes the different places he lives and travels to with his family. My collage represents I how imagined those places (England, Italy, Scotland, his boarding school and his childhood home). I also included how I imagined his closest friends and family to look.) We also encourage you to create your own artistic representation for your book. Just check in with Mr. Hurley or Ms. Schwenkmeyer before you start.
